In packaging printing, signage production, home décor, and even industrial signage, the durability and adaptability of visual communication are crucial. When images need to be printed on flexible, bendable PVC film, vinyl stickers, wood veneers, or specialty papers, ordinary water-based or UV inks often struggle to achieve optimal adhesion, flexibility, and color saturation. Solvent-based PVC inks, specifically designed for porous and non-absorbent substrates, offer a reliable and efficient printing solution for complex applications thanks to their superior penetration, strong film-forming properties, and wide color gamut. Under the trend of environmental protection, the industry is actively developing low-VOC (volatile organic compound) or bio-based solvent systems to reduce environmental impact while maintaining performance. Although solvent-based inks still require regulated ventilation and recycling, their irreplaceable nature in specific high-performance scenarios ensures their continued evolution rather than obsolescence in the green transformation.
